Kapa Research is proud to announce the initiation of fieldwork for the World Bank Enterprise Surveys (WBES) in collaboration with the World Bank Group. This initiative marks a significant step forward in our ongoing partnership, contributing to the third edition of the World Bank’s flagship Business Ready (B-READY) project.

Throughout the period 2024-2025, WBES interviews will be conducted with businesses in a diverse selection of economies across North and South America, Europe, and beyond. This comprehensive data collection effort aims to illuminate the intricacies of private sector activity within specific regions. The findings will be instrumental in informing policy decisions that foster improved business efficiency and sustainable economic growth.

The WBES Advantage

The WBES is a leading survey that provides insights into the inner workings of a nation’s private sector. It collects data from a diverse range of registered businesses with 5 or more employees, spanning various industries, excluding agriculture and extraction.

Through face-to-face interviews with key personnel, the survey delves into critical aspects influencing business operations, such as access to finance, corruption levels, infrastructure quality and the competitive landscape.

Transparency You Can Trust

The WBES prioritizes transparency and data integrity. Every response is treated with the utmost confidentiality, fostering trust and encouraging participation. Furthermore, the raw data, scores, and calculations are readily available on the project website. This fosters accountability and ensures confidence in the survey’s findings.

Your Participation Matters: Help Shape Policy Decisions

By participating in the WBES, you have the opportunity to contribute valuable insights that will shape a more prosperous business environment in your region.
