Migrant/Refugee Survey in Greece
Client: The World Bank Group
Description
The main objective of the World Bank Migrant Survey in Greece was to facilitate the gathering of individual-level statistics on migrants and refugees in Greece, in order to build the evidence base needed to ground the ongoing discussion around this topic on facts and data, and to inform decisions on the appropriate policy response – at the global level – for a successful economic and social integration of refugees and migrants in destination countries. In support of this objective, the survey collected individual level data on migrants/refugees in selected regions of Greece early to mid 2017. The final sample comprised 1684 familiesfrom the main survey, and 1013 individuals from the literacy test (PIAAC).
