Kapa Research operates under a formal governance framework covering research ethics, data protection, information security, and quality management. The commitments below apply to every project we deliver, in Greece and internationally, and are documented in policies available to clients and contracting authorities on request.
Certifications
Kapa Research is certified to ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management Systems).
These certified management systems govern our project delivery, data handling, and information – security practices across all engagements, and are independently audited on a recurring basis.
Professional Standards & Memberships
We adhere to the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics, and apply ESOMAR’s data protection and privacy standards in all research activities.
Kapa Research is a full member of “ΣΕΔΕΑ” the Association of Market & Opinion Research Companies, Greece and complies with its self-regulatory framework, including the industry’s quality-
control and audit mechanisms for data collection.
Codes of Conduct
As a ΣΕΔΕΑ member, Kapa Research adheres to the codes of conduct of ESOMAR/ICC in force at any given time, and applies ESOMAR’s data protection and privacy standards in all research activities. All our research, quantitative and qualitative, in Greece and internationally, is conducted in accordance with:

Regulatory Registration
Kapa Research is registered in the National Council for Radio and Television (ΕΣΡ) Registry of Polling Organisations and Companies, as required under Greek law for the conduct and publication of political and electoral opinion polls.
Data Protection
All personal data is collected, processed, and stored in compliance with:
- the General Data Protection Regulation(EU 2016/679),
- Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, where we process data on behalf of EU institutions and
agencies, and - Greek Law 4624/2019.
We maintain a register of processing activities, apply Data Protection by Design and by Default, and operate documented procedures for data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection) and for breach notification. All project staff receive training in data protection and confidentiality.

Research Ethics & Integrity
Participation in our research is always voluntary and based on informed consent. Respondent confidentiality and anonymity are guaranteed unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
All substantive research tasks including survey design, fieldwork management, data processing, and reporting, are performed under full human control and supervision.
Quality Assurance
Quality control is applied at every stage of the research cycle: structured interviewer training and continuous monitoring, real-time fieldwork supervision, back-checking of completed interviews,
daily data cleaning, and multi-layered validation before delivery. Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 and aligned with international standards for survey research.
Subcontractor & Partner Governance
Where projects involve subcontractors or local fieldwork partners, all parties are contractually bound to apply the same data-protection, confidentiality, and quality standards that govern Kapa
Research’s own operations, under our direct supervision and within our certified management framework.
