Since 1990 Kapa Research has designed and run surveys for the World Bank Group, the European Commission, the OECD, the European Central Bank, as well as for a wide range of clients, from international academic institutions and investment funds to national and regional governments, and companies with investments in Europe. Our work today spans business intelligence, economic and social statistics, public affairs, health, ageing and longevity, government and public services, society and culture and migration, accompanied by data-driven and people-based advisory.

Our Approach
Our own people, trained on high standards
We employ a substantial in-house staff and work with an extensive network of trained interviewers and enumerators. We run our own call centres and program our own CAPI, CATI and web surveys, so our project managers and supervisors control every stage of fieldwork and can show clients the record of any individual interview. We have run World Bank Enterprise Surveys across economies spanning Europe, the Americas, the Caucasus and North Africa, and multi-country opinion surveys across several countries at a time, with fieldwork run in local languages under a single protocol.
We can reach the people who are hard to survey
We have successfully interviewed chief executives and finance directors in lengthy, in-depth interviews about their firms, refugees in Arabic, Farsi and Dari among others, adults we have followed in the same panel for many years, senior policymakers and technical experts across the Member States, and shipowners and C-level shipping executives. Our extensive experience in recruiting senior decision-makers and experts across many countries, and our protocols for reducing refusals, are what make that feasible.
Accountable and built for scrutiny
We are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, follow the ICC/ESOMAR International Code, and comply with GDPR and Regulation 2018/1725 where we process data for EU institutions. We typically verify a substantial share of every interviewer’s completed interviews by call-back, document every check, and report progress on a fixed schedule, with all research tasks performed under human control and supervision.
